The Kaltwassersee in our beautiful Rossh\u00fctte hiking area is a popular destination in the Region Seefeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can take the funicular to the Rossh\u00fctte middle station at 1.760 m. From there you hike down into the valley and after about 15 minutes you reach the Kaltwassersee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a hike to the Kaltwassersee, you start at our Hotel and head towards the mountain along beautiful hiking trails. There are different levels of difficulty to determine the course of the route. We love the challenge and are happy to take the slightly steeper climb along the Krummer Steig. This ends just before the middle station of the Rossh\u00fctte. Over the meadow it goes back down to the valley and you reach the wonderfully situated cold water lake in a few minutes. This mountain panorama! The eyes cannot get enough of the great view and the wonderful reflection of the Hohe Munde and the other mountains in the lake!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around the lake you will find benches and seating for relaxing and sunbathing. If you are dreaming of a schnapps or a delicious Kaiserschmarren, make your way to the Hocheggalm below the Kaltwassersee. Here you can enjoy down-to-earth Tyrolean cuisine and enjoy a great view of Seefeld from the sun terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are then drawn back to our cozy Hotel, you can take the route over the soft summer meadow or the forest road. Here you will always meet cows and horses who spend their summer holidays here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insider tip for an unforgettable experience... In the evening, ride an e-bike to the Kaltwassersee and marvel at an indescribably beautiful sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
