Seefeld Winter Walking
The winter walking trails in Seefeld are
well-prepared and offer a lovely way to explore the Olympia Region...
- Seefeld-Mösern-Lottensee-Wildmoossee-Seefeld or reverse 3 1/2 hrs.
- Seefeld – around the Wildsee (don't forget seed for the birds and nuts for the squirrels!) 3/4 hrs.
- Seefeld-Wildsee Auland and return, 1 hr.
- Seefeld forest trail to Reith, 1 1/4 hrs. (return via train)
- Seefeld-Lehenwald-Triendlsäge (guesthouse), partly shady valley walk, 2 hrs.
- Walks on the Gschwandtkopf: on the winter walking trail Seefeld-Mösern until the Möserer Höhe and then on the lovely trail leading gently upwards to to the top of the lift and the Gschwandtkopf. Return via chairlift, as the trail back down to the Seekirchl is very steep.
- Circuit trail Gschwandtkopf: the winter trail follows the markings used in the summer, 2 hrs.
- Seefeld-Roßhütte, 2 1/2 hrs. (use of mountain railway possible)
- Auland-Mühlberg-Hochleitenkopf viewpoint, 1.276 m, 1/2 hrs.
- Reith-Leithen: trail leads to the north of the Karwendelbahn (very sunny with view over the Inn valley), 3/4 hrs., return with bus.
