Would you like to try something extraordinary for this year's holiday break? Then try some of the 450km of walks in the Seefeld area. Nothing can compare with the feeling you get on reaching your goal - whether it is a hut in the meadows of the plateau or a mountain peak where you can view the panorama of alpine scenery.

Our "mountain experience" begins with the hotel rooms - either with a view onto Karwendel range and the famous high-level path from the Seefelder Joch to the Nördlinger Hütte or with an outlook onto the Wetterstein mountains with their lovely walks into the Gaistal.

But walking trails aren't only limited to the experienced hiker who is after the peak-bagging badges from the local tourist office. Many gentle trails lead around the lakes and through the woods of the area around Seefeld and those who are looking for mountain flowers, local herbs or for mushroom delicacies are guaranteed to find the right season for them.

The tourist office offers a weekly programme of three walks, including music and visits to local huts.
