Events in Seefeld in Tirol
Traditional customs and the pre-Christmas spirit live on in the Tyrolean mountains as the Seefeld Advent Festival starts. Flickering candles and shimmering lights in the dark of the winter night are also seen as an example of a deep religious belief and as a symbol for the one of the most important days of the year. The Seefeld Advent market runs from the railway station to the lake chapel on all four weekends, featuring delicacies and traditional Christmas tree decorations. Linger awhile by the stage in the Kurpark and listen to the music from the choirs or the brass bands. Children have the chance to take part in their own Seefeld Advent in the Olympiahalle with Christmas bazaar, a handicrafts room, an Advent cinema and a fairytale theatre.
