Leutasch Crosscountry Skiing Trails

A5 Obern
This flat, enjoyable and sunny trail is one of the busiest in Leutasch. It has 4 tracks and runs for 5km between the Alpenbad and the Buchener Höhe at the foot of the Hohe Munde. There are a number of traditional huts for refreshments along the way. Many guests drive to Leutasch with their own car and in this case we recommend the Moos car park. The trail can also be reached with the post bus with a change in Weidach.

A6 Alpenbad
This trail is the connection to the Obern track. In the first third it is very shady. After this it is similar to the Obern track.

A7 Gasse

B5 Katzenloch
This track begins with the tiring but wortwhile climb to the Muggenmoos. We turn here onto the Muggenmoos track A4 and visit the Muggenmoosalm. This romantic trail leads further in the direction of Buchen, past the Ropferstube (also recommended with their own apricot schnaps!) on the Buchener Höhe. The trail then descends gently to Leutasch. This B5 is a particularly snow-sure trail (apart from the Ropferstuben-bend). The best route to reach this trail is with the car to Leutasch Moos, where there is a large car park at the foot of the Hohe Munde.
